Supervisor for Sales and Marketing

Associate Degree in Business Administration or Marketing plus 2 Years experience in sales and marketing.

Job duties:

Directly supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff; organize promotional events at trade shows and other venues, coordinating with sales staff to ensure prompt delivery of products to customers; implement sales plans and supervise subordinate sales staff;  train, assign sales staff’s word load; achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; gather the complains from client and suggest resolutions, then report to the marketing manager; identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share and competitor’s strengths and weakness;  Receive recommendations from subordinates regarding company’s promotion activities and marketing campaigns; screen out valuable information and report it to the marketing manager for final approval.

 

Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a product portfolio, focus on product planning, and product marketing. The Product Manager leads the design and execution of the product strategy and is responsible for managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the customer and sales team, R&D, sales, and marketing teams.

The Product Manager is also responsible for developing, implementing and managing new and/or existing products and ingredients by creating and implementing marketing plans, general capabilities slide decks, and providing data related to competitors, the market, and revenue forecasting and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Present and analyze research data in the application of the branded ingredients
  • Trouble shoot application questions
  • Conduct research to identify data in the Nutritonal Supplement Industry to keep up with industry standards and stay ahead in leu of new, innovative products
  • Identify market opportunities,define product vision, strategize, and set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Communicating effective measures in a cross functional environment with R&D, marketing, sales, and business teams to development brand ingredients and products
  • Ability to analyze research data and draw scientific conclusions
  • Navigate complex industry relationships and find the right contacts and decision makers
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or anticipating clients’ objectives
  • Work with the sales team as the product and market expert on portfolio
  • Must be able to travel 25-40% of the time.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science’s degree, preferably in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or Nutritional Science
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in product technical support and management role, preferably in the international food and beverage or branded ingredients distribution industry
  • Presentation skills preferred
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance with cGMP, GRAS, NDI and HACCP
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a start-up environment
  • Analytical and detailed-oriented, and a comfort discussing technical details
  • Able to work in an international business environment
  • Excellent Communication skills in written and verbal form
