What is EnzytideTM?

Chenland’s Enzytide™ technology is a patented method to manufacture active peptides, including plant/animal peptide and marine peptide. At the start of the production, crushed raw material, pure water and the food grade protease are mixed in an optimized ratio, temperature, PH and time in a tank designated for hydrolysis.  At the end of the hydrolytic process, the temperature is increased to 95°C for 10 minutes to inactivate the enzyme proteolytic activity. The hydrolysate and the residue are mechanically separated with the help of a centrifuge.

Newly Released Data from the Clinical Study

We’re proud to announce our brand-new clinical research results focused on ClamBP™.

Recently, a single-center, open-label study is in process to investigate the safety and effectiveness of ClamBPTM at a daily dose of 1,800 mg in lowering blood pressure. 30 men and women aged 18-75 were enrolled with mild to moderate high blood pressure (SP≥140 mm Hg, DP≥85 mm Hg). 11 subjects have completed this study, and the other 9 subjects have been enrolled to start this clinical study and will be completed by the end of 2021.

The data showed that ClamBPTM has stable protein content and ACE inhibition activity after treatment for 2 hours at 25°C, 40°C, 60°C, 80°C and 100°C respectively. The appearance and odor don’t change significantly at 25°C, 40°C, 60°C and change to a darker color and a little bitter taste at 80°C and 100°C.
